The homeowners of this 1930’s adobe Mediterranean-style home contacted us about a complete home makeover. They were looking to improve the home’s flow by replacing a fragmented floorplan with a more functional layout.
Douglah Designs completely redesigned the heart of the home to make it more open and elegant. Now, wood-like porcelain tiles lead you through a welcoming and functional main floor, which includes a new kitchen, dining room, mud room, powder bath, and laundry room. And two new fireplaces add warmth and an intimate feel to the living space. We also remodeled four bathrooms throughout the house to ensure a unified aesthetic. The homeowners love how we balanced their need for functional spaces and modern amenities with a Mediterranean flare.
