Transforming Your Home’s Outdoor Living Spaces

While we know you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, the exterior of a home makes a powerful first impression! From fire pits to kitchens, we discuss a few different ways we’ve been able to transform our clients’ outdoor living spaces into the getaways they’ve always wanted— right outside their front door!

Backyard Kitchens

We believe that it’s important to enjoy your outdoor living spaces just as much as your indoor spaces! In this home in Lafayette, the client wanted to enjoy summer BBQs and entertain their guests year-round in their own backyard. The key to the success of this project was plenty of counter space and storage options. The client loved the classic luxury that teak wood added to this kitchen!

Outdoor Fireplaces

People have been gathering around fire for thousands of years thanks to its ability to evoke a sense of bonding and relaxation. A backyard fire pit establishes a warm and inviting space for fun with friends and family, and creates an additional living space outside your home! We think this client will need more chairs— this will soon become everyone’s favorite place to hang out!

Facade Improvements

Your home’s entryway is the first hello when you come back from work at the end of the day— shouldn’t it be beautiful? This client wanted a bit of a facelift for the outside of their home, including an updated front porch and more windows to allow for more natural light. We breathed new life into this mid-century style home and made it something new!

Is there anything better than enjoying a glass of wine on the front porch? This client wanted to maximize the extra space surrounding their home with a cozy nook to have dinner or read the morning paper. They also appreciated the added privacy the stone wall provided, along with the charming touch of a new door and lighting fixtures.

Updated Backyards

You don’t need an enormous lot to enjoy your backyard! We believe that how you use your space is more important than how much space you have. This client wanted a pleasant, upgraded area to entertain guests. Having a polished and paved backyard allows you to do what you need with your space, and our clients appreciate the easy maintenance. Stone is easier than grass to keep clean and tidy!
