Habitat for Humanity East Bay Chapter creates successful homeownership opportunities for families with low incomes by building sustainable housing and revitalizing neighborhoods in Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
Lafayette Partners in Education supports high priority school programs that are threatened by lack of regular funding, including science education, music programs, visual arts programs, and foreign languages, in addition to funding school counselors and classroom technology.
Linsday Wildlife Museum is a unique environmental education center as well as the oldest and one of the largest wildlife rehabilitation centers in the US. The hospital treats more than 5,000 injured and orphaned wild animals each year, and the museum educates tens of thousands of children about the environment through tours and programs.
Shelter Inc. of Contra Costa County works to prevent and end homelessness by promoting self-sufficiency among low-income and residents of Contra Costa County.
Sustainable Lafayette is a grassroots non-profit that works to transform Lafayette into a highly sustainable community by providing information, inspiration, tools, and programs that facilitate the adoption of sustainable practices.
The DD team has participated in several philanthropic events including volunteer construction for Habitat For Humanity East Bay and the annual hike Mount Diablo for Shelter, Inc.
